Location:

Florida Coast Medical Center – 310 Southeast Veranda Falls Way, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34984. Online applications only.

Position:
Full‑time and part‑time. Schedule may vary, including rotating weekends; details are provided during the interview.

Pay:
Fixed rate of $17.00 per hour.

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and apply proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate a variety of industrial floor care equipment.
• Employ automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Use proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
