RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

About This Role

As an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital, you will provide direct patient care before, during, and after invasive cardiac procedures. This role is ideal for an RN with critical care experience looking to advance their skills in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

• Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL
• Facility: Tradition Hospital
• Schedule: Full‑time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families, considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)

• One year of current critical care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or ALS American Red Cross; must be presented upon hire or within the first year of employment based on the department service level RN is hired into.
