Certified Nurse Assistant - Full Time

Location: North Beach Rehabilitation Center, North Miami

Shift: Full Time

$15.50 – $16.50 per hour

• Providing personal hygiene support, including bedpans, urinals, baths, shampoos, and shaves; assisting patients with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Assisting with activities of daily living: serving meals, feeding patients as needed; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Administrative care: administering enemas, douches, nonsterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths; applying restraints.
• Maintaining patient stability: checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output.
• Providing patient comfort: using resources and materials; transporting patients; responding to call lights and requests; reporting observations to nursing supervisor.
• Documenting all actions: completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and JCAHO standards to serve and protect the nursing community.
• Continuing education: participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, joining professional organizations, and maintaining licensure.

• Current Nursing Assistant certification in good standing from the state of Florida.
• Active CPR certification.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Prior experience working in a Nursing Home.
