About the Role:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Larkin Palm Springs Campus, you will play a crucial role in providing high‑quality patient care and support to individuals in a healthcare setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well‑being while promoting their independence. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans and monitor patient progress.

This position requires a compassionate approach, as you will be interacting with patients who may be experiencing physical or emotional challenges. Ultimately, your contributions will help enhance the quality of life for our patients and support their recovery journey.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Florida
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Help patients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient needs and changes in condition.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong interpersonal communication, which is essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams. Attention to detail is crucial when monitoring vital signs and documenting patient information accurately. Compassion and empathy are vital skills that will enable you to provide emotional support to patients during challenging times. Time management skills will help you prioritize tasks effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred skills, such as specialized training in areas like dementia care, will enhance your ability to cater to the unique needs of specific patient populations.

  • 7:00pm-7:00am, ALTERNATED WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS
