Registered Nurse; RN Step Down Night Shifts

Job Summary

The delivery of quality care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation/re-assessment. The provision of direct and indirect patient care in the IMCU/Step-down unit. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, can perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

• Deliver quality care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of the nursing process.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the IMCU/Step-down unit.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians, including diagnostic results and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments under adequate supervision.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Two or more years of medical/surgical nursing experience (preferred).
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Current State (FL) Registered Nurse Licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
