An Security Officer Armed Sector Patrol in Miami, FL will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. This part‑time position allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, while maintaining awareness of public activity and supporting order throughout the location.
• Work closely with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when needed, while following post orders and Allied Universal standards.

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• College degree.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Corrections officer license.
• Law enforcement officer license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants with criminal histories may be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
