Job Schedule: Mon to Wed, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

As a Security Officer Screening Associate you will serve and safeguard clients, monitor entry points, screen visitors and residents, support access control activities, provide customer service, and maintain a professional presence in a caring environment.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a shelter location.
• Screen residents, visitors, guests, and deliveries entering the location in accordance with site procedures and report concerns to leadership and emergency services when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, conflicts, and critical situations calmly, document observations, and maintain records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Age 21 or older (18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State, county, or city‑issued security license preferred.
• Computer or tablet proficiency preferred.
• Will undergo background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Will comply with licensing and driver’s license requirements if applicable.
