Job Description

L4 Security and Consulting Group LLC is hiring qualified unarmed security agents for the Port St. Lucie area. L4 is a private security agency operated by former law enforcement officers. The role includes protecting a variety of clients such as federal government sites, manufacturing facilities, schools, retail locations, and other facilities. Applicants should have background in law enforcement, corrections, fire/rescue, EMS, military service, or private security with a strong service record.

A thorough background investigation and drug screening are required prior to employment. The company offers career growth, annual and advanced training, professional advancement, and healthcare plans.

Initial compensation is $14 to $15 per hour, dependent on contract, post, and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Protect property and lives
  • Monitor entrance/egress of property
  • Identify visitors and request appropriate documentation
  • Guard against theft and maintain security
  • Respond to alarms and calls of distress
  • Complete accurate daily and incident reports, recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Prevent passage of prohibited vehicles into restricted areas
  • Prevent access to unauthorized persons
  • Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use
  • Regulate and monitor building systems
  • Inspect windows and doors to ensure locks are in place and working
  • Complete all required security logs
  • Communicate effectively with client management, employees, and visitors
  • Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years old
  • Professional appearance and ability to wear uniform neatly and correctly
  • Excellent verbal and written customer service skills
  • Ability to be alert and appropriately handle escalated or crisis/emergency situations
  • Ability to multi‑task
  • Ability to operate a computer and other security devices
  • Depending on the client and state, ability to obtain required training and licensures
  • Physical Demands

    Job may require standing and walking for long periods during a shift and other physical tasks as needed.
