Maintenance Technician

Description

Perform various repairs and upkeep in apartment buildings to ensure resident safety, comfort, and property integrity. Key responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, conducting routine inspections, making repairs to plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems, and performing general property upkeep such as painting and landscaping. They also prepare vacant units for new tenants, manage supplies, and may be on call for emergencies.

• Respond to Maintenance Requests:Promptly address and complete requests from residents for repairs and malfunctions within their units.
• Perform Repairs: Diagnose and fix issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct Inspections:Regularly inspect apartments and common areas for safety hazards, wear, and needed repairs.
• General Upkeep:Maintain the property’s appearance by painting, patching walls, and performing general carpentry work.
• Landscaping & Groundskeeping:Handle tasks like mowing lawns, weeding, and maintaining shared outdoor spaces.
• Prepare Vacant Units:Make units ready for new residents by ensuring they meet safety and aesthetic standards.
• Manage Supplies:Track inventory and order necessary parts and supplies for repairs and maintenance.
• Emergency On-Call:Be available for emergency situations requiring immediate attention.
