Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities- Fulfill Work Based Learning referrals as a direct service provider to assigned clients.
- Communicate directly with referred clients, the client’s supports, and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors to build relationships and help clients achieve their goals.
- Coordinate with the Lead Youth Employment Specialist to discuss placements and activity; attend team planning meetings; review payroll for clients; ensure case notes and deliverables are submitted promptly.
- Develop new business relationships for clients to enable them to perform their Work Based Learning Experiences (WBLE).
- Assist with the intake of new clients to set clear expectations, complete documentation, and ensure clients are cleared to work in a WBLE.
- Place clients in appropriate WBLE locations and provide the relevant level of support; create accommodations as needed (e.g., task lists, reminders, adapting tasks to learning style).
- Work with job-site supervisors to address potential issues quickly and maintain open communication with client families about progress and challenges.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and supports (call, text, or email) to discuss appointments and interviews and ensure appropriate support levels.
- Create accurate case notes and deliverables in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for submission to Vocational Rehabilitation and correct errors promptly.
- Review staff training on new policies, procedures, and processes; complete monthly summary reviews as instructed.
- Communicate with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors to provide updates on each client and address issues as they arise;
- Keep shared calendars up to date; assist with special programs as needed; drive clients to various locations as required.
- Perform other required duties as directed.
- Education:
High School diploma required; some college or a degree in any field preferred. - Experience:
No experience necessary; experience with individuals with a disability or in counseling, job placement, job coaching, or public vocational rehabilitation programs is preferred. - Skills &

Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and web-based systems. - Background Screening:
Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required. - Other Requirements:
Open availability (days, evenings, weekends) to work around students' school schedules; reliable transportation with valid driver’s license, registration, and appropriate auto insurance; bilingual (English/Spanish) or ASL is a plus; confidentiality and ability to manage multiple deadlines; must have own computer, printer, smartphone with data plan, and high-speed internet.
