Role Description This full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role is based in Port St. Lucie, FL. The driver is responsible for safely operating temperature-controlled tractors and trailers, loading and securing perishable freight, and ensuring on-time deliveries to regional and long-haul destinations. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring trailer temperatures, completing logs and required documentation, and following all DOT and company safety regulations.

The role also involves communicating with dispatch, reporting any delays or issues, and providing courteous service at customer locations. Drivers are expected to maintain clean equipment, comply with routing and scheduling instructions, and uphold Armellini’s standards for professional conduct on the road and lifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and the ability to comply with all DOT regulations.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers, preferably with refrigerated or temperature-controlled equipment.
• Strong safety focus, including knowledge of vehicle inspections, load securement, and defensive driving practices.
• Dependable time management skills and the ability to follow schedules, routes, and delivery windows.
• Effective communication skills for working with dispatch, customers, and team members, including basic documentation and recordkeeping.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, and to meet physical demands such as lifting, climbing, and extended driving.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs), GPS navigation, and basic truck maintenance checks.
• Prior experience in perishable or flower transportation is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
