Facilities Maintenance Technician

Neath Port Talbot Hospital contract.
Location: Neath Port Talbot - on site working.
Contract: Permanent – Full Time.

• Working within the FM team, supporting planned and reactive maintenance across the Hospital.

• Various PPM tasks: tap testing, flushing & fixing, legionella tests, pump/compressor fault diagnosis, assessing plant equipment, fire alarm, emergency lighting, fuses, desk management, HVAC, AHU's & compressor maintenance.
• Reactive, planned maintenance and general works: minor fabric, electric, plumbing & heating repairs.
• Electrical activities: wiring, lighting, socket replacement; testing: emergency light testing, DB & RCD checks, certification to NICEIC regulations.

• Experience across multiple maintenance aspects – Electrical, Mechanical and Fabric.
• Fault finding & reactive repairs; first line response for M&E equipment such as plumbing, heating, AHU's, air conditioning, pumps, pressure units, generators, fire alarm, security & access control.
• Electrical qualifications (Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds 2360, 2330, 2356, 2357, AM1/AM2 or equivalent); 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018 / Level 3 C&G 2382) certificate preferred.
