IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for field-based Industrial Chemical Cleaners for full-time, temporary to permanent positions.
Our client is a well-known and respected global company working across refineries, oil & gas, steelworks, petrochemical and nuclear sites throughout the UK.
This is a field-based role, predominantly based in South Wales (Bridgend / Port Talbot), with regular travel to other sites across the region and further afield. You will work as part of a mobile team of Decontamination Technicians, carrying out shutdowns, outages, equipment deep cleans and emergency chemical decontamination jobs.

- Carry out heavy industrial chemical cleaning as part of a field-based team.
- Work across a range of industrial environments.
- Carry out shutdowns, outages, equipment deep cleans and emergency chemical decontamination jobs.
- Work within confined spaces, including tanks and vessels.
- Work with vacuum tankers and pipework assembly.
- Work flexibly as part of a mobile team across different sites.
- Experience in heavy industrial chemical cleaning as part of a field-based team across various environments.
- Experience working in confined spaces, including tanks and vessels.
- Experience working with vacuum tankers and pipework assembly.
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Valid COSHH awareness training.
- High-Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) safety awareness.
- Confined Space Entry training.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible shift patterns, including nights and weekends.
- Willingness to work away when required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Supervisor / Team Leader experience.
- PICWP experience.
