Donation Attendant

Donation Attendant – Port Townsend, WA

Hourly Rate: $17.13 per hour

Position Summary:

As a member of the Goodwill production team, Donation Attendants will be responsible for processing and sorting the donations provided by our community.

• Accept donations from donors and issue receipts as necessary.
• Keep donation indoor/outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of debris.
• Receive training on Gaylord and pallet use.
• Assist in the unloading/loading of trucks and/or trailers.

• Customer Service: Must possess exceptional customer service skills: greet donors, carry donations from donor’s vehicle to the center, and provide donor receipt if requested.
• Determining Acceptable Donations: Exercise good judgment in determining which donations are acceptable while communicating that decision to the customer effectively and politely.
• Record Keeping: Maintain all required records and deliver them to supervisors or drivers as scheduled.
