Part‑Time
Salary: 2026‑2027 stipends – $3,641 per month.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate the philosophy of a competitive purpose‑based athletics program, imparting life skills, sportsmanship, good character, and supporting students’ social and emotional growth.
- Teach basic skills, rules, dress code, and principles of basketball.
- Teach, implement, and supervise safety guidelines for the sport.
- Provide guidance to assistant and volunteer coaches and engage them in program development.
- Facilitate the establishment of team and individual goals.
- Maintain discipline within the framework of school policy.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with the team, community, and district staff.
- Set expectations for the team and communicate them to parents/guardians, communicating as needed throughout the season.
- Maintain WIAA coach’s certification and current first aid/CPR card or willingness to obtain emergency medical training.
- Conduct fund‑raising and cash management within school district guidelines.
- Follow the Coaches Handbook guidelines and expectations.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
- Experience in coaching, preferably boys middle‑school basketball.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
