Wee Folk Forest Summer Camp is seeking a magical human to teach at our nature-immersion program for ages 2 1/2 to 6, located at Heron Hill Equine in Port Townsend, WA. This position starts mid-late July, and is a blend of advance notice subbing and last-minute subbing.
We are seeking someone with the following skills/attributes:
- Kind and warm with a love for children and prior, relevant experience with children
- Committed to developing a keen nature awareness and cultivating a love for nature in children
- Fun! With a love for including everyone and creative problem-solving
- Masterful with groups of children, helping all to feel successful, with a non-competitive focus
- Knowledge of the critical social-emotional development happening for this age group
- Aligned with our approach to early childhood education (https://)
On an as-needed basis, July 15-August 28, at our Port Townsend location at Heron Hill Equine.
