    Family Juvenile Court Improvement Plan Coordinator

    Family Juvenile Court Improvement Plan Coordinator

    Jefferson County is seeking a Family Juvenile Court Improvement Plan (FJCIP) Coordinator. This position is a catalyst for improving dependency court operations and case outcomes for children and families involved in child welfare. Uses data, research, and the experience of peer courts across the state, to convene local system partners to identify opportunities for improvement, undertake meaningful practice change, and assess the effectiveness of their efforts.

    The FJCIP Coordinator works with court and system leaders to foster a court culture that is trauma responsive, equitable and respectful of families, community members and system professionals.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Associates Degree (AA) in Social Services, or equivalent years post high school education, or a combination including:
    Experience in or as an Administrative Assistant, experience in working in a child welfare, juvenile justice, court or social service setting.

    Knowledge of computers and skill in the demonstrated use of spreadsheet, database, word processing, and other software applications used in the operation of the department and Guardian ad Litem (GAL) program. See Job Description for full duties.

    Part-time UFCW position, Grade 26. Full medical benefits, including dental and vision. Retirement provided through Washington State DRS. Plus, Personal Time Off (PTO) accrued starting at 21 days per year, 11 paid holidays and bereavement leave based on hours worked. Starting pay typically $26.66 per hour DOQ. Full Salary range: $26.66 to $31.83 per hour.
