Jefferson County District Court is seeking an energetic & motivated individual to fulfill the duties of a Judicial Support Specialist I. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys interacting with the public on a daily basis, is detail and task oriented and has great time management skills. This position will learn all functions and duties of the District Court outlined in the job description, as well as providing support to the Jury Coordinator Position.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED), minimum two (2 years) related experience in a public or private legal setting, or a combination of education and other work experience. Experience in a court setting or post‑secondary degree is desirable.
Must pass a background check. Must sign confidentiality agreement upon acceptance of employment.
Compensation: Full time, 40 hours a week, Full medical benefits, including dental and vision. Retirement provided through Washington State DRS. Plus 11 paid holidays, PTO, and bereavement leave. UFCW Grade 23 position. Starting pay typically $24.57/hour, DEQ. Full salary range is $24.57 to $30.22. This position is also a part of a career ladder for advancement in District Court.
