Position Summary
Jefferson County is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Voter Registration Coordinator to support the Auditor’s Office in administering free, fair, and transparent elections.
This position is responsible for all aspects of voter registration and assists with election preparation and operation, including absentee ballots, training of election workers, operation of poll centers, and voter outreach programs. The Voter Registration Coordinator is a key member of the team that ensures the accuracy, security, and integrity of the voter registration and election processes in Jefferson County.
Responsibilities- Administer voter registration processes.
- Assist with election preparation and operation.
- Handle absentee ballots.
- Train election workers.
- Operate poll centers.
- Conduct voter outreach programs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Four years of progressively responsible experience in election work, training, or equivalent combination.
Full time Grade 28 UFCW position. Pay range $29.57 – $36.37 per hour, DOE. Full medical benefits, including dental and vision. Retirement provided through Washington State DRS. Paid Time Off (PTO), 12 paid holidays, and bereavement leave. Work Week:
Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with a 30‑minute lunch.
