Night Shift Family Birth Registered Nurse

Overview

Jefferson Healthcare, in Port Townsend, Washington, is seeking an experienced and empathetic Registered Nurse to join the Family Birth Center team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care during labor and delivery, tailored to meet individual patient needs using the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care) and promotion of continuity of care. The role may involve supporting neighboring departments and contributing to the overall success of the facility.

• Provide high-quality nursing care during labor and delivery, with care plans individualized for each patient.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with the Family Birth Center team and other departments as needed.

• Washington State RN license in good standing required
• BLS Certification required
• NRP Certification required
• ACLS Certification required within 6 months of hire
• STABLE Certification required within 6 months of hire
• AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate and Advanced Certification required within 6 months of hire
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Two or more years of labor and delivery nursing experience

Schedule: 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week), Night Shift, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am

Salary: $41.43 - $75.65 per hour
