Hourly Rate: $17.13 per hour
Position Summary:
Responsible for the operation of cash registers, providing customer service, and maintaining shelf stock.
- Operation of cash registers
- Maintaining shelf stock; stocking the sales floor as needed and directed by store management
- Answering phone inquiries
- Maintain a safe/clean and well-merchandised store
- Provide excellent customer service to a variety of customers.
- Follow Goodwill’s cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Willing to be a team player in order to accomplish competitive deadlines and goals.

Requirements Qualifications/BasicJob Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 – 3 months of related experience and/or training
- Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision‑making and communications skills
- Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus

Ability to read and interpret hard data and metrics. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra when working on spreadsheets. Ability to create and manage departmental budget.
Computer
Skills:
Ability to navigate through multiple program screens and easily use a computer, keyboard, mouse, 10‑key and touchscreen.
Other
Skills and Abilities:
Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Cashier.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Will constantly lift 1‑15 pounds, frequently lift 15‑20 pounds, and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
