Plant Accounting Analyst, Inventory & Financial Reporting

If so, this role is for you. Reporting to the Controller and collaborating closely with the Controller and CFO, you will contribute to financial reporting, process optimization, systems initiatives, and strategic projects.

What You'll DoGeneral Accounting & Reporting: post journal entries and accruals; execute monthly close; reconcile accounts; support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reporting.

Manufacturing & Cost: assist with inventory accounting; analyze production costs and trends; support inventory reconciliations and physical counts.

Process & Systems: streamline AP/AR and related accounting workflows; participate in ERP enhancements and automation; document procedures and strengthen internal controls.

Planning & Analysis: support budgets, forecasts, and financial plans; assist with cash flow and liquidity analysis; provide analytical reporting for business decisions.

Audit & Compliance: coordinate with external auditors; help ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and controls; maintain accurate records and support schedules.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

communicate financial concepts to non-financial partners; contribute to special initiatives assigned by the Controller and CFO.Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing.

Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

Analytical, organized, and strong problem-solving orientation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Points Bachelor's in Accounting.

Hands-on experience with cost and inventory accounting.

Manufacturing industry background.

IQMS/DELMIAWorks or similar manufacturing ERP experience.

Continuous improvement mindset and exposure to automation projects.
