About the RoleThe Field Operations Coordinator supports the Site Superintendent and Field Team on construction projects by executing high-level administrative tasks including union workforce onboarding, payroll, resource tracking, and dispatch coordination. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to operate efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software systems are essential.
UnionNew Hire Onboarding
The coordinator ensures compliance with I‑9 requirements, coordinates site orientation and badging, facilitates required orientation videos, and provides tablet support to new hires. Accurate record-keeping of onboarding processes and timely updates are maintained.
Payroll ManagementResponsibilities include entering and submitting weekly timecards for all field staff, proofreading entries to prevent errors, generating payroll reports with incentives, per diem, and corrections, and sorting and distributing paychecks for on‑time delivery.
Resource TrackingThe coordinator tracks attendance and workforce resources using Procore Workforce Management, conducts daily roll calls, and manages dispatching, terminations, and personnel update requests (PARs).
Administrative SupportTasks include consolidating and submitting daily reports to key stakeholders, managing IT requests, providing basic IT support, ordering supplies through Amazon, coordinating catering for events, maintaining safety training records, filing and maintaining site records, and performing basic office housekeeping.

- Experience with I‑9 compliance and new hire onboarding preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, along with any required licenses or certifications.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; any college degree preferred.

Certifications:
None required. - Experience: Three (3) years in a similar role, with construction experience preferred.
- Driving Record: Valid state‑issued driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
