[Job Summary]

This role is responsible for ensuring that innovation, product concepts, and growth initiatives become retailer-ready, scalable business execution. The CSO builds the operating system that connects Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, and E
- Commerce ? translating ideas into launches that succeed at shelf.

This leader protects execution readiness, commercial discipline, and retailer success, and is expected to construct structure in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.

• Enterprise commercialization process (Concept → Launch → Retail execution)
• Cross-functional operating rhythm across Product, Marketing, SCM, Sales, E-Com
• Launch readiness standards (packaging, supply, timing, retailer requirements)
• Forecast alignment and execution discipline
• Retailer-facing readiness (line reviews, resets, GTM readiness)
• Building scalable processes where none exist
• Balancing speed of innovation with operational reliability

We are not looking for a pure strategist. We are looking for an operator who has built business systems in a retail-driven consumer environment.

• 15+ years of experience in consumer, beauty, CPG, or retail-driven businesses
• Proven ownership of end-to-end commercialization
• Led cross-functional execution across Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales
• Experience building or fixing broken processes in growth or founder-led companies
• Accountability for launch readiness, forecast accuracy, and retail success
• Business/finance literacy (P&L and margin discipline)

• Experience in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle categories
• Exposure to strategic planning or consulting (supportive, not core)

• Willing to slow initiatives when execution risk is high
• Protects brand and retailer success over internal urgency
• Visionary mindset, but able to execute against immediate needs

• Creates structure, cadences, and decision frameworks
• Drives alignment without relying on hierarchy

• Can respectfully challenge leadership when initiatives are not execution-ready
• Balances speed and discipline
