Safety Manager – Data Center Construction
Lead safety excellence on mission-critical construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to play a critical leadership role supporting some of our most complex and high-profile construction projects, including large-scale data center developments. What You'll DoAs a Safety Manager, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to project and field leaders while leading safety initiatives across active construction sites. You will:
- Conduct comprehensive safety inspections and audits on small, mid-sized, and large complex construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Identify potential hazards, recommend corrective actions, and partner with project teams to proactively mitigate risk.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
- Analyze safety trends, injury data, and metrics to develop effective loss-control and risk-reduction strategies.
- Lead emergency response efforts and support employees during safety-related incidents.
- Maintain and manage critical safety documentation, including inspections, accident reports, training records, and regulatory submissions.
- Deliver and coordinate employee safety training programs that promote engagement, awareness, and accountability.
- Mentor and support less-experienced safety professionals, providing leadership and development opportunities.
- Lead special projects and safety initiatives that strengthen safety performance across multiple locations.
- Partner closely with project leadership to integrate safety into every phase of construction planning and execution.
- Support safety oversight for large-scale, mission-critical data center projects with multiple buildings under construction simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in construction safety, environmental health and safety, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience managing safety programs within commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction environments.
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and OSHA 40 training completed.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- One or more of the following certifications: OSHA 500, NFPA 70E, CHST, ASP.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926, CFR 1910, EM 385, and applicable construction safety regulations.
- Experience conducting incident investigations, safety audits, compliance reviews, and employee training.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Applied Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation.
- Data center construction experience.
- Mechanical construction experience.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing safety teams.
- Proven success overseeing multiple projects or locations simultaneously.

This is a Permanent position based out of Port Washington, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
