Position DescriptionPosition Summary: This position will support and promote a culture of safety across construction and installation job sites. This position works directly with the Director of Safety, field employees, subcontractors, and customers to ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Due to the need to conduct safety training, orientations, incident investigations, and daily communication with both English- and Spanish-speaking employees, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this position.
- Conduct job-site safety inspections and audits
- Assist safety orientations and toolbox talks
- Investigating incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries
- Assist with OSHA compliance and recordkeeping
- Partner with field supervisors to identify and correct hazards
- Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices
- Maintain safety documentation and reports
- Attend safety-related meetings with General Contractors and subcontractors
Other Duties As Assigned:
Performs other related duties as assigned including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the business.
Experience/
Education Required:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this position
- Valid driver's license is required
- Field construction experience preferred
- Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized and possess the ability to multi-task, while meeting tight deadlines under pressure alone or as part of a team
- Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion
