Position Summary: The Elementary Principal will serve as a visionary instructional leader responsible for cultivating a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing school culture. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with two other elementary principals within the district, fostering alignment across grade levels and instructional practices to ensure continuity of excellence and shared success. The Principal will champion equitable student achievement, support faculty and staff development, and engage families and community partners as essential contributors to student growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Leadership
    • Lead school-wide instructional vision that promotes rigorous, research-based teaching and learning.
    • Analyze student performance data to guide continuous improvement and implement strategies that raise academic achievement.
    • Mentor, support, and provide rapid cycle feedback to teachers in reflective practice and professional growth.
  • School Culture & Climate
    • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment where each student can thrive.
    • Promote social-emotional learning and positive student behavior systems.
    • Build strong relationships with students, staff, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & District Partnership
    • Engage in regular collaboration with other elementary principals and central office leaders to align curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices.
    • Share best practices and contribute to district leadership initiatives that strengthen instructional consistency and coherence.
    • Participate in district-wide efforts to enhance educational programming and professional learning systems.
  • Operational Leadership
    • Oversee school budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation in alignment with district goals.
    • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies and reporting requirements.
    • Coordinate school safety plans, emergency procedures, and daily operations.
  • Family & Community Engagement
    • Establish strong lines of communication with families and community members.
    • Advocate for school programs and represent the school at public events and district functions.
    • Foster partnerships with local organizations that enrich student learning and community involvement.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field.
  • Licensure: Valid Wisconsin DPI administrative certification.
  • Experience: Strong background in elementary education and leadership; successful teaching and administrative experience preferred.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability in instructional leadership, team building, conflict resolution, and inclusive community engagement.
