KGO is seeking multiple Project Engineers to support one of the largest and most exciting gigawatt-scale data center construction programs currently underway in the United States.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-performing project delivery team supporting the construction of a next-generation mission-critical campus. Candidates will work directly with construction managers, trade partners, design teams, and client stakeholders to drive successful project execution across multiple phases of development.
Key Responsibilities- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale construction projects
- Assist with management of mechanical, electrical, and controls-related scopes of work
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Track project schedules, procurement activities, and construction progress
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and client teams
- Support quality assurance, commissioning, and turnover activities
- Maintain project documentation, reporting, and meeting records
- Identify and help resolve construction challenges while supporting schedule and budget objectives
- Participate in site walks, inspections, and coordination meetings
- 5–10 years of construction experience
- Strong experience supporting one or more of the following disciplines:
Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, Building Controls / BAS Systems - Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management and project collaboration tools
- Data Center construction experience preferred but not required
- Experience supporting mission-critical, hyperscale, or large infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with commissioning, turnover, and startup activities
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
This is an on-site position in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Candidates must be available to work on-site five days per week. Relocation to the Port Washington area is required. Limited remote work is not available for this role.
