Job Description
The Commissioning QA / QC Lead facilitates the commissioning of multiple projects and other design and engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards. They foster relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to communicate expectations, provide project updates, review key performance indicator (KPI) analyses, and recommend solutions for observed trends or anomalies. The role prioritizes safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Facilitate commissioning of multiple projects and design/engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
- Leverage expertise to influence contract administration, including generation and review of contracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents.
- Align cross‑functional teams on budgets and resources required for timely project completion.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to communicate expectations and provide project updates.
- Guide development of commissioning scripts and related technical documentation.
- Influence collaborations with the general contractor to develop Systems Manuals that serve as a reference for Data Center Operations personnel.
- Provide expertise in collaborations with engineering teams to create data center designs and specifications that align with operations and reliability requirements (e.g., power capacity, cooling systems, electrical and mechanical critical systems).
- Review KPI analyses during systems testing and recommend solutions to address observed trends or anomalies.
- Resolve highly complex, non‑routine issues with mechanical and electrical systems, driving development of resolutions to common and recurring cases.
- Prioritize and update quality and safety standards, facilitating training programs and ensuring stakeholders maintain a common understanding of guidelines.
- Manage and provide direction on timelines, deliverables, and budgets for critical high‑impact projects.
- Influence cross‑functional leaders and external stakeholders to gain alignment on strategic objectives and foster partnerships.
- Lead specialized, advanced problem‑solving efforts, serving as an escalation point for complex issues and guiding innovative data‑driven techniques.
- Leverage deep industry knowledge to serve as a thought leader, contributing to the advancement of the field and promoting continuous learning across teams.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness of processes, protocols, and workflows, evaluating effectiveness and designing metrics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on talent development, providing leadership and expert knowledge in hiring decisions.
U.S. based or U.S. customer or client‑facing roles may be required to comply with immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements. Compensation is $120,100 - $251,600 per year with potential bonus, equity, and compensation deferral. Oracle is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
