Responsibilities- Execute month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and comprehensive account reconciliations.
- Analyze production costs and inventory valuations to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency.
- Collaborate on the development of annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts to ensure fiscal health.
- Drive process improvements by automating financial workflows and enhancing ERP system utilization.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and variance analyses to assist leadership in evaluating business performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure full compliance with GAAP and internal control standards.
- Communicate complex financial data effectively to cross-functional departments to foster organizational alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally within a production or industrial setting.
- Strong technical proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with integrated ERP platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Prior experience specifically within cost accounting or inventory management.
- Proven track record of leading or supporting process automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP software and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and system optimization.
