Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end project delivery
, integrating project management, construction management, scheduling, procurement, and support functions to ensure scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are achieved. The Senior Project Manager leads the project team in alignment with Project Executive direction and partners closely with the Construction Manager to translate execution strategy into coordinated field delivery. This role owns project-level planning, forecasting, change management, and client‑facing communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, client expectations, and executive direction.
- Act as the primary liaison with the Owner and design team, overseeing communication, coordination, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain the comprehensive project execution plan, integrating schedule, staffing, procurement, and construction strategy.
- Own the project schedule, managing milestones, critical path activities, and recovery plans in partnership with the scheduler.
- Provide clear directions to the Construction Manager and project team by translating milestones, priorities, and sequencing requirements.
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, ensuring forecasting accuracy, disciplined change management, and consistent execution.
- Oversee full project financial performance, including budgeting, labor planning, forecasting, margin management, and month‑end reviews.
- Approve and guide change order development, pricing, submission, and billing in collaboration with PMs and the Project Executive.
- Identify and mitigate project risks early while ensuring strong cross‑functional coordination across scheduling, BIM/VDC, procurement, prefabrication, safety, and quality.
- Support staffing, onboarding, documentation standards, commissioning readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives across the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in related field or work experience applicable to the role
- 7+ years of experience in project management roles within commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical construction
- Proven experience managing large, complex construction projects with multiple work streams
- Experience working with integrated project management, cost control, and scheduling platforms in a large‑scale construction environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead integrated project teams and coordinate across disciplines
- Experience working directly with Owners and design teams
- Data center or mission‑critical construction experience strongly preferred
- Electrical construction background preferred
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project scheduling, cost controls, and risk management
