Role Overview: Responsible for providing compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and surgeries.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate multidisciplinary care, serving as the central communication hub among physicians, therapists, and families.
- Monitor patient status accurately, proactively identifying changes for timely intervention.
- Educate and assist patients and families with discharge planning to ensure successful recovery at home.
- Current registered nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a valid multi-state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
