Retail Sales Manager

Duluth Trading Company is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You'll coach and motivate a small team, drive sales of durable workwear and outdoor apparel, and maintain strong product knowledge to guide customers to the right gear. Responsibilities include opening/closing, cash handling, merchandising, inventory support, and ensuring brand standards on the sales floor.

You'll model Duluth's down to earth, humorous, and hands on culture while resolving customer issues and supporting training for new associates.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Coach, train, and motivate sales associates to achieve sales goals
• Deliver exceptional, solution-focused customer service
• Operate POS system, handle cash, and reconcile drawers accurately
• Support visual merchandising and maintain brand presentation standards
• Assist with inventory receiving, stocking, and cycle counts
• Monitor sales metrics and support execution of promotions
• Help create and adjust daily floor coverage and task assignments
• Resolve basic customer issues and escalate when needed
• Model Duluth Trading Company's hands-on, authentic culture on the sales floor
