As a Warehouse Associate
- Cherry Picker Operator at Wayfair, you are the engine of our logistics network, directly responsible for ensuring our customers receive their orders quickly and in perfect condition. • Handling & Movement:
  Safely load, unload, and move large and small furniture orders and inventory of various sizes. This will involve manually lifting items up to 75 lbs unassisted and maneuvering/team lifting products up to 150 lbs.
• Technology & Inventory:
  Utilize scanners, handheld devices (e.g., Nexus), and warehouse software to accurately track, process, and update inventory and order locations across all operational stages.
• Quality & Preparation:
  Perform comprehensive quality control tasks, which may include inspecting, assembling (deluxing), repackaging, labeling, and sorting products to prevent damage before shipping.
• MHE Operation:
  When certified, safely operate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as order pickers, electronic pallet jacks, and reach trucks, often at high elevations.
• Safety & Teamwork:
  Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S) to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Physical Capability:
  The ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work a full shift (8+ hours a day) in a dynamic, non‑climate‑controlled warehouse environment.
• Frequent lifting of merchandise up to 75+ lbs unassisted.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.
• Equipment
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum 6 months of cherry picker, order picker, or related MHE experience required.
• Comfort with Heights:
  Must be comfortable working at heights (up to 40 ft) while handling large products.
• Preferred:
  Previous warehouse, logistics, or comparable experience, high school diploma or GED.

  Basic ability to use computers, tablets, and handheld inventory devices.
