Your impact as a Warehouse Associate at Wayfair involves ensuring customers receive their orders quickly and in perfect condition. You handle large volumes of product across many functions, from inbound receipt to final-mile deliveries.

• Handling & Movement:
  Safely load, unload, and move large and small furniture orders and inventory of various sizes. This involves manually lifting items up to 75 lbs unassisted or up to 150 lbs with team lifting.
• Technology & Inventory:
  Utilize scanners, handheld devices (e.g., Nexus), and warehouse software to accurately track, process, and update inventory and order locations across all operational stages.
• Quality & Preparation:
  Perform comprehensive quality control tasks, including inspecting, assembling, repackaging, labeling, and sorting products to prevent damage before shipping.
• Safety & Teamwork:
  Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S) to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Physical Capability:
  Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work a full shift (8+ hours a day) in a dynamic, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment; ability to frequently lift and move merchandise up to 75+ lbs unassisted.
• English literacy:
  Able to read and comprehend English to ensure safety.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Previous warehouse, logistics, or comparable experience;
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Basic ability to use computers, tablets, and handheld inventory devices.
