Our public sector client is seeking an experienced
Painter
to join their property maintenance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and refurbishing properties across the local area, ensuring they are finished to a high standard and ready for new occupants.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and improvement of public sector housing and facilities, working within a supportive team environment.

Carry out painting and decorating works within residential and communal properties, primarily focused on
change-of-tenancy
projects.

Undertake a range of painting tasks including
full paint outs
,
staining door edges and saddles
, and
painting fences, doors, and other internal/external surfaces
.

Ensure all works are completed efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.

Adhere to all
Health & Safety
procedures, including proper use of
PPE/RPE
and safe handling of materials.

Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to plan and prioritise daily workloads.

1- 5 years’ experience in painting and decorating.

Proven experience working within a public sector or property maintenance environment.

Basic IT proficiency (for completion of job sheets and communication).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
