The teacher is responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and psychological growth. This person is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success.

• Math (gr. 5-8)
• Reading (gr.

• Religion (gr. 8, if Catholic)

• Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process and meaningful learning experiences.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and translate lesson plans into learning experiences to develop unit organization around historical problems, challenge students, and best utilize the available time for instruction.
• Maintain effective and efficient record keeping procedures.
• Encourage parental involvement in students' education and ensure effective communication with students and parents.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Carry out the Catholic mission of our school.
