Job Responsibility: Maintains, designs, implements, and supports the corporate infrastructure by identifying requirements, installing upgrades, troubleshooting, and monitoring performance.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for management, maintenance and architecture of storage, virtualized environment, servers, network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS), telecommunications, and productivity tools
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
- Monitor systems and identify performance issues, proactively ensure system availability and reliability
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Provide Tier‑2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues for internal and external customers
- Professionally represent the infrastructure team as a technical consultant on projects.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
- Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications
- Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors and contract consultants
- Maintain good working relationships with all service providers and vendors to ensure that services received meet expected requirements of contract
- Responsible for project management and implementation of corporate infrastructure capex projects with limited supervision.
- Ability to be on call for emergencies
Qualifications and
Education Requirements:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science/Technology
- 5 years of infrastructure and network experience in a corporate environment
Preferred
Skills:
- Knowledge of network software and current operating systems
- Ability to work independently and be attentive to details
- Problem solving, planning, ability to multi‑task and work under pressure
- Good verbal and communication skills
