Order Enry Specialist

Role:
Sales Support Representative / Customer Service Representative (Skilled) – Contract

Location:

Hybrid – Portage, MI area (Onsite Mon–Wed, Remote Thu–Fri)
Training:
First 6 weeks fully onsite

Schedule:

8:00–4:30 or 9:00–5:30 ET (flexibility needed)
Duration: ~12 months (extension possible)

What you’ll do

• Process and support customer orders with strong accuracy/urgency
• Partner with sales reps and internal teams to resolve order/pricing/delivery/account issues
• Coordinate with Operations, Contracts, Finance, Logistics, Technical Support, etc.
• Maintain clean documentation and system records; follow policies/procedures
• Provide proactive updates and follow-through until resolution
• Suggest process improvements to enhance customer experience

Must-haves

• High attention to detail + accuracy
• Strong written + verbal communication (sales partnership style)
• Organization/time management in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable, learning mindset, team-oriented
• 2+ years in customer service / sales support / order management / operations (preferred)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working directly with sales reps
• Systems: SAP / Salesforce / JD Edwards (JDE), strong MS Office
• High-volume transactional environment experience
• Proactive problem-solving
