Long-term Sub Rate through Edustaff

for English Language Arts from January to the end of the school year

The substitute classroom teacher will be responsible for the delivery of engaging high-quality instruction to all students. This substitute will work for the entire second semester teaching English Language Arts.

• Must be an approved permitted substitute teacher through Edustaff
• Experience teaching ELA
• Experience working with special needs students in regular classroom
• Experience working with special education teachers and paraprofessionals
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction to meet various student needs present in the classroom
• Experience with and/or ability to team teach and flexibly group students with grade level peers
• Strong organization, classroom management and collaboration & communication skills
• Must have an understanding of MiBLSi and strategies for implementing positive behavior supports
• Must have an understanding of RTI and its application in the classroom
• Active and continuous learner in the area of elementary education, research based instructional strategies, and best practices
