Job Responsibilities- Evaluatingmanufacturing processes andidentifyingareas for improvement;determiningresolutions and implementing improvements.
- Innovating,researchinganddeveloping new processes, equipment use, and products.
- Creating test protocols, parts, and fixtures; establishing testing procedures and requirements for optical characterizations; specifying and qualifying optical components.
- Supporting analysis of collected data; collecting, processing, and analyzing camera images and 3D depth data; preparing detailed reports.
- Writing procedures for operations and equipment use.
- Developing and benchmarking system performance models.
- Following detailed instructions and procedures; prioritizing assignments; working independently and completing assignments on time; staying organized and making decisions within assigned responsibilities; working as a team member.
- Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Performing other duties at the Departmental Manager’s discretion.
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to Micro-LAMCompany Policies.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, etc.:
- Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to management and/or safety Committee Membersimmediately.
- Special Safety Instructions – Whenoperatingthe Machine,the Operator MUST wear safety Glasses.
- Moderate walking, standing, heavy lifting (50lbs), carrying, stooping, bending,kneeling and reachingrequiredfor this job description.
- Experience with Manufacturing, Test Equipment & Quality Systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High levelof technical expertise.
- Collaboratewellwith others.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or equivalent work experience.
- Manufacturing experience and/or training desired.
