As a Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Specialist within PNC's Data, Modeling & Analytics Retail Lending Insights & Analytics organization, you will be based in one of the following locations:
Portage, MI;
Brecksville, OH;
Pittsburgh, PA; or Chicago, IL.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python & SQL, Jupyter Hub, PAE, and Power BI.
- Strong experience gathering and translating business requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- Ability to work in an in-office setting and collaborate across teams.
- Provide financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over reporting processes.
- Run complex business performance, risk, and operational analytics.
- Develop analytical methods/models to assess market, credit, and/or operational risk of new and existing financial products.
- Leverage product and business expertise to rigorously analyze large datasets, improve risk‑adjusted returns, and deliver profitable growth.
- Synthesize analytical results and develop, recommend, and implement business strategies that improve lending decisions, manage risk, increase revenues, and reduce exposure to losses.
- Establish baselines for strategies and track actual performance against expectations.
- Apply predictive models, third‑party data, and other tools to develop and execute segmentation and targeting for acquisition and portfolio strategies, providing insight into portfolio risk.
- Manage engagements with internal and external information suppliers to ensure solutions are fit for purpose while maintaining governance and oversight.
- Collaborate with business, credit, data, and model‑development partners to design, develop, and monitor test designs and analytical reporting to track and enhance strategies.
- Design and enhance standard reporting suites for regular product and portfolio reviews.
- Collaborate with Finance and Risk partners to assess and establish credit risk appetite and determine its implications, facilitating policies and procedures for risk management.
- University or college degree with 5+ years of industry‑relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience, including military service.
- No specific certification or license required.
Base Salary: $91,000.00 - $. Salary may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skill, experience, and education.
