Delta Workforce is hiring a 2nd shift process technician for a plastic mold facility in Portage. 2nd Shift role
- Training on 1st shift for 2 weeks. Essential job duties and responsibilities include responsible for machine start-ups, working with injection molding machines and secondary equipment on tooling issues to reduce downtime and improve efficiency, ensuring machines are running at optimum efficiency, troubleshooting machine, mold, and material problems, reporting to manager any difficulties or problems requiring special attention, responsible for the accurate completion of process verification and tool reports as required, and responsible for die change activities.

Requirements include prior experience in plastic injection molding, including mold changes, hydraulics, and electrical, education to support mold set-ups and troubleshooting, computer skills including machine control, skills to perform process parameters of all presses operating during scheduled shift, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Hours:

3PM - 11PM Monday
