This is a hybrid position based in Portage, MI; candidates must live within commuting distance and be onsite 4 days per week.

** What You Will Do*
* + Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering growth, engagement, and retention.

+ Drive project execution by planning, budgeting, and staffing initiatives to meet business goals.

+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by overseeing technical documentation and design controls.

+ Influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders through clear, effective communication.

+ Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging in hiring and team development.

+ Manage cost center budgets, including forecasting and tracking financial performance.

+ Mentor team members in technical disciplines and performance management practices.

** What You Will Need*

* + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

+ Minimum six years of relevant professional experience.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor others in a technical environment.

+ Experience managing projects with defined budgets and timelines.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Experience in people management or performance coaching.

+ Familiarity with the healthcare or medical device industry.

+ Proven ability to deliver programs on time, within scope and budget.

+ Knowledge of stakeholder engagement practices.

$102,600 - $171,000 USD Annual
