Job Overview
As an Assistant Store Manager at Scrubs & Beyond, you will support the Store Manager in driving overall store performance and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Your responsibilities encompass all facets of store operations, including scheduling, customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory management, financial reporting, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Drive business results by analyzing trends, maximizing daily sales, and developing team members to achieve business goals.
- In partnership with the Store Manager, manage expense budgets, payroll, and ensure adherence to procedures.
- Establish and preserve long‑term customer relationships with local healthcare providers and meet outreach expectations.
- Create an exceptional customer experience by maintaining a strong sales‑floor presence and modeling optimal selling behaviors.
- Assist the Store Manager in fostering continuous learning and development for all team members by providing regular feedback and leading performance management efforts.
- Act as the on‑site leader and take on management responsibilities when the Store Manager is not available, including coaching and training team members.
- Lead through Kindthread Core Values, inspire innovation, and maintain a high‑performance culture.
- Execute and maintain strong visual merchandising standards.
- Possess in‑depth retail expertise.
- Have 2–4 years of retail or sales experience in a leadership capacity or relevant experience.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding personal and overall store sales targets.
- Able to quickly understand and address business information (e.g., budgets, sales forecasts, retail strategy).
- Can work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Full‑time 32–40 hours per week.
