Position Summary
The role involves providing member service, maintaining checkout and entry/exit areas, resolving member issues, promoting Sam’s Club products, and supporting members with self‑service technology. It also requires handling payments, returns, refunds and exchanges, conducting safety sweeps, managing merchandise, and maintaining a safe shopping environment. The associate trains and mentors new members, ensures compliance with security and safety practices, and collaborates with managers, co‑workers, and customers to improve processes and adaptability to change.

- Provide member service and resolve member issues and concerns.
- Promote Sam’s Club products and services and assist members with purchasing decisions.
- Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas, including verifying membership cards and ensuring safe shopping environments.
- Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following company policies.
- Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe situations to facility management.
- Manage merchandise order‑off and prop keeping, zone the area, and identify shrink and damages.
- Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and tool functionality.
- Encourage continuous improvement and recommend ways to address opportunities.
- Support company ethics and integrity principles and uphold the Open Door Policy.
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners to set priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate progress.

Live Better U is a company‑paid education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short‑form certificates. All tuition, books, and fees are paid for by Walmart.
CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season or work performed.
Qualifications- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
