AboutThe Role
As Regional Sales Manager at Depatie Fluid Power, you will own the full commercial and operational performance of your assigned region. This is a high‑impact leadership role with real autonomy. You’ll support the strategy, develop the team, and deliver results. You will work closely with the various leaders in the organization to shape how the business grows, which markets we enter, and how we serve the customers who depend on us.
YourImpact
- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary regional team including Branch Managers, Territory Account Managers, Product Managers, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Parker Store, Warehouse, and Assembly personnel.
- Build and execute territory growth plans that open new markets, win new accounts, and deepen relationships with existing customers in the hydraulics, pneumatics, and fluid power space.
- Take the lead on high‑value customer presentations, proposals, and RFQ responses — bringing Depatie’s technical expertise directly to the customer.
- Develop key customer relationships across your trade area, becoming a go‑to partner for solving real engineering and operational challenges.
- Partner with the Sales Director on pricing strategy, territory structure, marketing initiatives, and supplier relationships to strengthen your region’s competitive position.
- Manage regional budgets with discipline, keeping both inventory and operational spend aligned to monthly and annual targets.
- Run regular one‑on‑ones and team development conversations that build a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to training programs that increase technical fluency across your team and your customers.
- Proven track record in B2B technical sales with consistent territory growth and revenue attainment
- Demonstrated team leadership experience — you’ve managed, coached, and developed people who go on to perform at a higher level
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of budgets, margins, and operational efficiency
- Customer‑first mindset — you build relationships that last and earn trust through follow‑through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and drive your own agenda
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 10–15 years of technical knowledge or hands‑on experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or fluid power systems
- Experience in industrial distribution, motion control, or related manufacturing sectors
- Technical certification or college degree in a relevant field
