What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations in a healthcare location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and preparing detailed activity reports.

* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry to restricted areas, while observing for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns.

* Support emergency response activities and assist with de-escalation, directions, and general assistance for people on site during routine operations and unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
