Robotics Technician - Portage Area

Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software malfunctions of industrial robots.
• Install, calibrate, and test new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
• Program and adjust robot paths, speeds, and logic for optimized manufacturing processes.
• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests to ensure optimal robot performance.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and system updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing quality standards for robotic operations.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial robots.
• Ability to perform basic robot programming and teach pendant operations.
• Strong understanding of PLC integration with robotic systems and ladder logic.
• Experience with industrial electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Adherence to industrial safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Proficiency in CAD software for interpreting cell layouts and tooling.
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C++) for scripting or data analysis.
