Warehouse Associate

Portage, MI Onsite Contract Starts 7/10/2026 Ends 7/09/2027

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Warehouse Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Portage, MI. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role supports multiple warehouse operations, including unloading, sorting, verifying receipts, and storing materials in both cold room (2-8C) and ambient temperature locations. The position is responsible for processing incoming materials, staging them appropriately, and maintaining accurate site-wide inventory.

• Complete daily tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Use a computer system to pack customer orders and receive materials
• Efficiently process shipments as part of a work team to ensure customer orders are completed and shipped the day they are ordered
• Pick product from storage areas, check for accuracy and pack for shipment
• Demonstrate initiative by assisting others and completing general warehousing activities during slow periods, including 5S activities, restocking, cycle counts, and sorting product for receipt

• High School or equivalent education
• Demonstrated basic math, reading comprehension, and basic computer skills
• Prior experience in warehouse operations
• Demonstrated competence in effectively working in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities
• Ability to problem-solve and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Ability to read computerized packing lists and track/calculate product shipments
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, move to and from order processing stations, and lift up to 50lbs
• Capable of bending, kneeling, and pushing carts for 8-12 hours during a shift

• Forklift operator's license is preferred

Pay range: up to $17.75 per hour
